This is a copy from my blog: donnasthoughtsonbooks.wordpress.comTanner Avery is a hard-working cowboy who has let the guilt he has felt push him to work even harder, and doing so he has not been spending enough time with his twins. His dad has been there helping him out since his wife's death two years ago. His father called Jackie Taylor an etiquette consultant to come and help the twins with manners.
I think he did it in hopes that his son would find love but that is never mentioned anywhere in the book, but based on the fact that his dad is dating and serious with someone and wanting to move on with his life but doesn't want to abandon them makes me seem like this is why he done it.
Tanner is not happy when he learns what his father has done and when he meets Jackie (even though he thinks she is beautiful) he lets her know he is not happy about her being here.
Jackie does not know what to think when she meets Tanner (as handsome and sexy has he is) but his rudeness has her thinking this was not a good idea. She sticks it out and works with this kids. They fall in love with her.
On one occasions Jackie was talking to Tanner's father and he overheard and called her into the living room to talk to her. He tries to fire her but his dad and the kids won't let him. His son tells him that they see more of him since she has been here. That hurt him and he takes off.
Jackie and Tanner grow closer and the attraction keeps building until there is no space between them. They can't fight it anymore and they really don't want to.
Now Jackie thought she was almost engaged to someone back home but while she is on the ranch she learns a lot about herself and the people around her. When trouble hits back home she is forced to leave a day early. She had fallen in love with Tanner and she tells him. He tells her it is not a good idea with her leaving. That hurts her more than he will know.
When Tanner finds out that his twins have been emailing Jackie and his father has been getting post cards it upsets him a little to know that she has reached out but not to him. When his father confronts him he lets it slip about her says something about her feelings and when his father asks him what he said back his daughter said he made a mistake. His father made him see that he needs her and talks him into going to get her and bring her back where she belongs.
Now here are some questions to ask and you will find the answers while you are reading.
Why was Tanner feeling so guilty?
What kind of trouble did Jackie have to go home for?
Does Jackie forgive Tanner for the thing he said when she left?
I look forward to hearing about what you all thought about the book.
Thank you all for taking the time to read my blog.
Until Next Time: Happy Reading

Cowboy Kiss Heartthrob Heroes Book 1 edition by Kimberly Llewellyn Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews
If you are looking for a heart-warming book about learning how to trust in love, then this is the book for you! The author has given us a well written tale that is easy to relate to, quick enough to read yet not so quick that you loose anything along the way, and totally standalone. The characters are quirky and full of energy, and each represent a struggle, and a reason to rejoice, as we follow the hero/heroine through their ride back to love.
After loosing his wife and unborn child in an accident over two years ago, Tanner still hasn't learned to slow down and relax. He has become dependant on his father, Willy, to look after the household, including his twin eight year olds, Max and Amanda. When Willy sends for renowned author, Jackie Taylor, a specialist in etiquette, to come and show his unruly grandchildren some badly needed manners, without telling Tanner, all hell breaks loose. Especially since she's waiting at the train station for him to pick her up. Jackie, daughter of a Washington DC senator knows what it's like to be put on the backburner as a child, and has written a book just for kids.
This book is so full of excitement, strong emotions, and lots of misunderstandings, you won't want to miss it. A must read in my books. A great book to kick back and relax with.
Jackie Taylor and Tanner Avery come together under cute circumstances. Jackie, a “celebrity” etiquette consultant in Washington, DC needs to get out of Dodge for a while. She takes a gig civilizing two kids on a Florida ranch in exchange for a little time away to escape her love-life woes. The deal was offered by the children’s Grandpa.
Jackie’s a modern girl, not too stuffy, but she makes her first mistake showing up for her assignment in a pink suit. She has to dress this way because reporters constantly try to snap a photo of her to catch her “less than perfect.” She makes her second mistake thinking she’d find time to relax between dealing with two precocious children, a bunch of farm animals, and wild Florida weather. She tries to remain calm, cool, and classy...until her final mistake. She tries to fight her feelings for the children’s father - - a hot cowboy and ranch owner who didn’t know about her arrival until it was too late.
Tanner Avery is a widower working to keep his ranch and his little family together. He doesn’t want Jackie trying to change his kids. And he’s especially not happy when the kids get so attached to her. But after seeing the changes in his family - - including Grandpa - - he slowly changes too. He can’t help falling for Jackie. She’s beautiful, sexy, and great with kids. Their relationship is fast, furious and hot as a Florida summer night. Just as he gets used to the idea that Jackie might become part of his life for real, she drops a bomb that threatens to rip them apart.
The story is fun with very likeable characters who all come with their share of problems. It’s rare for me to get to read fiction too often, but I’ve taken a chance on a book by Kimberly Llewellyn before and found it enjoyable. So I thought I’d read her again and I have to say her enchanting style continues with Cowboy’s Kiss. I look forward to seeing more.
